Interactive pillows: “The interactive pillows come in pairs and mediate closeness at a distance. By leaning against, touching, or hugging a pillow, the pattern on the other pillow activates and glows dynamically. Changing from one pattern to another, gestures are exchanged remotely.
Scenarios for use of the pillows include families or loved-ones located at a distance. In contrast to the limited modality of telephony, interactive pillows could support the expression of longing and presence through interactions with intimate, everyday objects. ”
Reach: “Reach investigates the potential for communication and expression to be incorporated dynamically and interactively into the things we wear everyday.”
Cojonudo.

Fabrication: “In Fabrication, we investigate how information can be integrated into textile as an active part of the aesthetic pattern. By integrating information technology, we are developing dynamic patterns in the textile that change over time. Where traditional computer displays rely on textual information, we explore how an aesthetic and dynamic pattern could act as a means of communicating information.”
